Merry Christmas From The Saba Family

We would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and to thank you for your support this crazy, crazy year. Back in March, we had no idea of what was ahead of us, however, your incredible kindness, support, words of encouragement, and seeing you all again when we were allowed to open, kept us going.

You supported Saba To Go, sipped our takeaway cocktails, ate croissants from our coffee hatch, dined in the Saba Secret Garden, enjoyed ‘Apres Ski’, popped into our Bottle Shop and Grocer, ordered our Saba Gourmet Hampers and gifted our lovely vouchers to your friends and family. Along the way you voted for Saba To Go and thanks to you, it won ‘Best Takeaway in Ireland.’ You have been incredible and have driven us on at every turn, keeping our team employed and our suppliers paid. Thank you.

Thank you to our amazing suppliers and our behind-the-scenes friends and families, you know who you are. Our Saba team has been unbelievable, working tirelessly throughout changing restrictions, never complaining, adapting and always smiling behind their facemasks. We are very proud of how they have worked together and how they have taken care of each other.

During March in Lockdown 1, we were able to donate PPE to St James Hospital and The Mater Hospital and provide over 1000 meals to our front liners. All of which has only been possible because of your support. So thank you all from the bottom of our hearts. It’s unfortunate that we have to close again, however we will be back open on the 27th January in all restaurants and takeaways providing takeaway food, wines, Champagne and cocktails to go. And whenever we are allowed to reopen the restaurants, we will be back. We wish you all a wonderful Christmas with your family, the days are getting longer and soon spring will be here.

As Heaney said ‘if we can winter this one out, we can summer anywhere’, and boy are we looking forward to that ‘post-covid’ party! Wishing you all a happier and healthier 2021.
